RAINBOW VINTAGE 1990

While living in New York City, Rainbow Vintage and Elisabeth Bell Jewelry creator Beth Yorn often found herself exploring the various ancient jewelry collections at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Fascinated by the beauty of the pieces and their intricate detail, she decided to learn how to make them for herself and signed up to study the art of metalsmithing at the Jewelry and Arts Institute in NYC.

Since childhood, Yorn had a fascination with animals; at age fourteen she was volunteering at the local Audubon Society taking care of injured, orphaned wildlife. Her passion for these wild animals deepened in her adult life, inspiring her fusion of nature and jewelry, resulting in a collection that celebrates and symbolizes each unique element of wildlife.

After years dedicated to her Elisabeth Bell Collection she decided to pursue a new passion project, Rainbow Vintage 1980. She happily collects these cheerful pieces that remind her of her youth. They are polished up and often set with fine jewelry settings.

EBJ and RV1980 are worn and loved by the designer's celebrity fans, including Reese Witherspoon, Cameron Diaz, Dua Lipa, Sandra Bullock, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson, Sophia Bush, Julia Roberts and Maria Menounos, as well as others like herself who cherish nature's fascinating creations.
